Presenting Zamar!

Zamar Othel Deering was born to Chris and Sheena last night at 7:40 pm.  He was born 7 lbs 4 oz after 20+ hours of labor. Sheena is doing well and I imagine Chris couldn't be happier.  I have not seen him yet but I can't wait!

Taking The Fuzzi Bunz Plunge

So we decided to do it.  We are going cloth.  After a ton of research, ( I was a little compulsive)  I am really excited to use cloth diapers.  We decided to do it for several reasons.  First, it is economical.  Why throw $ away?  Literally.  Which leads me to my second reason... environmental.  I would share some info about sposies (term for disposables I picked up during my extensive research) but it's pretty depressing.  Let's just say cloth is greener.  Finally, Isaac's tushie.  I am hoping that his rear will enjoy the choice as well.  It seems like a less convenient choice but I am hoping I can handle it.  The other option is EC, but that is a whole 'nother post.

A little FB shout out to Sarah (mommy of Noah) for answering a ton of my questions!

What Goes On When Mom's Not Around

Sadly, I did not get to experience this in person.  Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who can record things.

Papa, This Post Is For You

Today, Isaac had another doctor's appointment. We found out that Isaac is nearly 17 lbs. He is healthy and wonderful. He can "talk" more. He especially likes having conversations with his toys. Sometimes when I try to join in, he gives me a look like I'm interrupting their fun. I don't mind though. He also grabs at toys with his hands, and he really likes to stand up. He is growing so quickly that a lot of his outfits don't fit. I'm moving him up to 6 month old clothes. He will be 3 months on the 20th.

Kadin's Concert

Tonight was Kadin's first Suzuki violin concert.  I really enjoyed seeing him up there on stage doing a rendition of Twinkle Twinkle.  It may as well have Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.   I was so proud.  I hope he keeps it up.  I am amazed at what these kids can do.  Plus, he looked handsome while he did it.
