That's right the Fuzzi Bunz have arrived. Last night, I washed, dryed and stuffed the diapers and it was fun. Today, we put them on and that's right folks, Isaac did his business. So far so good. In other Isaac news, he had a doctor's appointment and he is 18 lbs and 26 3/4 inches. According to our doctor he is growing "beautifully". He is "talking" more and grabbing his toys. In fact, he is having so much fun now he hardly wants to stay asleep. You can imagine how much fun that is for Mama. For now, sleep is a work in progress.

The Business of Being Born
I saw this film and loved it. I had a positive and natural birth in a hospital. Sadly, it seems that I am in the minority. I think this film gives some important information which can be used in making birthing decisions. I definitely think things need to change. Women should not be made to fear the experience of birth.

Taking The Fuzzi Bunz Plunge

So we decided to do it. We are going cloth. After a ton of research, ( I was a little compulsive) I am really excited to use cloth diapers. We decided to do it for several reasons. First, it is economical. Why throw $ away? Literally. Which leads me to my second reason... environmental. I would share some info about sposies (term for disposables I picked up during my extensive research) but it's pretty depressing. Let's just say cloth is greener. Finally, Isaac's tushie. I am hoping that his rear will enjoy the choice as well. It seems like a less convenient choice but I am hoping I can handle it. The other option is EC, but that is a whole 'nother post.
A little FB shout out to Sarah (mommy of Noah) for answering a ton of my questions!

What Goes On When Mom's Not Around
Sadly, I did not get to experience this in person. Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who can record things.

Papa, This Post Is For You

Today, Isaac had another doctor's appointment. We found out that Isaac is nearly 17 lbs. He is healthy and wonderful. He can "talk" more. He especially likes having conversations with his toys. Sometimes when I try to join in, he gives me a look like I'm interrupting their fun. I don't mind though. He also grabs at toys with his hands, and he really likes to stand up. He is growing so quickly that a lot of his outfits don't fit. I'm moving him up to 6 month old clothes. He will be 3 months on the 20th.
